Kaare Klint

A rare armchair

The ‘red chair’ was orginally designed in 1927 for the Danish Museum of Art and Design, but in 1930 the first model with armrests was designed when Klint was assigned to furnish the workspace of the Danish Prime Minister, Thorvald Stauning.
