The Paris gallery is open again after the summer break. Follow our blog, the Facebook page and the Instagram profile for news on exhibitions this autumn.

On October 26 2002 the gallery opened in Paris´ well established rive gauche gallery district in the 6th arrondissement. 10 years to the day after the opening of Dansk Møbelkunst, Copenhagen.

The Parisian gallery continues to focus on exclusive Nordic design from 1920 – 1975 showcasing rare and unique pieces as well as design classics by, among others, Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm, Hans J. Wegner, Finn Juhl, Poul Henningsen and Ole Wanscher.

Dansk Møbelkunst translates to – The art of Danish furniture. The focus remains on the artistic aspect of Scandinavian furniture with its minimalistic and organic forms, its natural materials and its superb finish. The Scandinavian design tradition plays a major role in the history of modern design, this aspect has been a focus in various exhibitions. In the Paris gallery you will also find a small library with books and catalogues on the subject.

We look forward to welcoming you in the gallery.
