From 1879 the Worker’s Assembly was located in Rømersgade, in central Copenhagen, until the building in 1928 was turned into the Workers Museum. The assembly hall with ceiling decorations from 1907 was restored back to it’s original with three large chandeliers by Poul Henningsen. The assembly hall was the location of various events, from political meetings, to the worker’s assembly’s yearly Christmas parties for families to memorial services.

When visiting the museum you can enjoy the assembly hall with the large chandeliers as well as a visit to the café which serves traditional Danish food and drinks.
