Dansk Møbelkunst is delighted to announce the opening of our new gallery in Zürich.
In December 2009, the main office and flagship showroom, designed by the acclaimed, Paris-based studio Laplace & Co, opened on Talacker 30, two blocks west of Bahnhofstrasse. As our clientele has expanded around the world, the new location will allow more direct and frequent client contact.
Galerie Dansk Møbelkunst continues to represent the very best of 20th Century Scandinavian design. The spacious new location will enable us to mount increasingly ambitious, museum quality exhibitions, showcasing important furniture and decorative arts by the world renowned architects and designers.
The first exhibition in the new Zürich premises will be a survey of works by Poul Kjærholm, opening in the spring of 2010.
The gallery will continue to operate Galerie Dansk Møbelkunst, located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, and will also maintain its’ showroom and warehouse in Copenhagen.
